Zoe Mattingly

Zionsville High School, 2009 – 12


Zoe Mattingly swam for Zionsville High School from 2008-2012. She specialized in the 100 and 200-yard freestyle events, winning the 100-yard freestyle as a junior and 200-yard freestyle as a senior. As a senior, she also anchored her team to a title in the 200-yard freestyle relay and runner-up in the 400-yard freestyle relay, as well as helping Zionsville to a team runner-up finish at the 2012 state championships. Mattingly continued her swimming career at the University of Michigan where the Wolverines won the 2016 Big Ten championship. She competed at the NCAA championships all four years twice earning Honorable Mention All-American as part of the Wolverines 200-yard medley relay. She earned many academic awards including Academic All-Big Ten, College Swim Coaches Association Scholar All-American, and University of Michigan Academic Athletic Achievement honors. Mattingly also competed at the 2012 US Olympic Trials in the 100-meter freestyle and 100-meter backstroke. Mattingly now lives in San Francisco and works for Minted in Business and Operation Strategy. In 2022 she earned her MBA from Stanford University.
