Ryan Fillmann

Muncie Central High School, 1993 – 1997


In high school, as a diver at Muncie Central High School, Ryan placed in the top three in all four years of competition.  He was runner-up in 1994 and 1996, third-place in 1997, and state champion in 1995.  In addition, he holds several school, pool, and conference records.  Ryan continued diving at Ohio State University under Vince Panzano and as a four-year letter winner was a finalist in the Big 10 championships and NCAA zone competitions all four years.  In 2003, he coached the Ohio High School men’s and women’s diving state champions while working in Columbus, Ohio.  He earned his Master’s degree in Public Administration from Ball State University while also serving as the coach of Ball State’s men’s and women’s diving teams.  At Ball State, Ryan coached several Mid-America Conference championship finalists and several Zone diving championship qualifiers.  He also coached the women’s 3-meter diving record holder.  Ryan has been fortunate to be nominated as a judge for the Indiana High School state diving championships and enjoys staying involved in the sport of diving.  He currently works in Carmel, Indiana, and lives in Noblesville with his wife, Anne, and son, Graham.
