Holly Humphrey

Crawfordsville High School, 1986 – 90


Holly Humphrey was a two-time Indiana high school state champion for Crawfordsville High School.  She won the 100-yard freestyle in state record time in 1986.  She then won the 50-yard freestyle in 1987.  After high school, she continued swimming at Ohio State University, where she was a six-time All-American, won four Big Ten Conference titles, and represented the USA as a member of the 1991 World University Games team in England. In 1994, Holly was awarded the Big Ten Conference Medal of Honor and was a top 10 finalist for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award.  She was also inducted into the Ohio State University Women’s Varsity “O” Hall of Fame.  She and her husband have three children, work in community development, and were based in Germany.
