Emily (Dunn) Plumb

Pike High School, 1989 – 92


Emily was a state champion diver for Pike High School from 1989-92. At conference and county competitions she was undefeated all fours years and won three of four sectional titles. At the IHSAA championships, Emily placed in the top four each year. As a freshman, Emily placed fourth on the 1-meter springboard. Her sophomore and junior years she finished as runner-up on 1-meter. At the 1992 championships, Emily won the diving championship. Emily continued diving at Indiana University, Bloomington. She earned most improved diver in 1994. She earned her degree in Elementary Education and is now a Special Education teacher in the Carmel Clay Schools. In 2005, she was named to the Teacher Leadership Academy Class. Emily resides in Carmel with her husband Chris Plumb, Hall of Fame 2011. They have two sons Will and Nick.
