North Central High School, 1979 – 83
Jeff Holowach competed for North Central High School, where was a four-time individual state champion. He won the 500-yard freestyle three straight years, from 1981 to 1983. Setting state records his junior and senior years. His senior year he added a title in the 200-yard freestyle, also setting a state record. In addition, Jeff was a part of the 1982 and 1983 championship 400-yard freestyle relay teams. He helped lead his teams to a runner-up finish his junior year and to the state championship his senior year.
After high school, Jeff swam at the University of Tennessee, where he focused primarily on the 200, 500, and 1650 yard freestyle events. Jeff is currently self-employed and lives in Fishers with his wife Jane and four children. Jeff is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing and hunting.
