Crawfordsville High School, 1975 – 79
Sally Johnson swam for Crawfordsville High School in the mid 1970’s, winning the 200-yard individual medley in 1975 and 1976. She also won the 100-yard freestyle in 1977 and the 100-yard butterfly in 1978. Sally established state records in all three events, but her most remarkable feat was in the 100-yard butterfly when she became the first female to break the one minute mark with a time of 59.09.
