North Central High School, 1997 – 2001
Sara Gonso was a diver for North Central High School in Indianapolis. As a senior, she won the 1-meter diving event. She placed in the top three every year of high school placing second her freshman year, third her sophomore year and second again junior year. She assisted her team in runner-up finishes in 2000 and 2001. She is the North Central record holder for both 6 and 11 dives. She went on to compete for two years at Miami University (Ohio). Sara also coached diving for three years at North Central while attending law school. She is an attorney in Indianapolis, where she resides with her husband, Matt, and their children.
