South Bend Central High School, 1950-54
Leslie Lobaugh was a five-time individual champion for South Bend Central High School. He won the 50-yard freestyle three straight years, from 1951-52 through 1953-54, setting a championship meet record each year. He was the first to swim the event under 25 seconds with a time of 24.4. He also won the 200-yard freestyle in 1952-53 and the 100-yard freestyle in 1953-54, establishing a championship meet record in the 100.
