Kari Retrum

Hamilton Southeastern High School, 1999 – 2003


Kari was an outstanding diver for Hamilton Southeastern High School.  She finished in the top three at the State CHampionships each for her four years of high school.  She won the 2002 championship, her junior year. As a freshman at the 2000 championships she earned a 3rd place finish while at the 2001 and 2003 championships she was runner-up.   Kari continued her diving career at the University of Kentucky, where she competed for the Wildcats from 2003-2008. Kari was the Southeastern Conference platform champion in 2004 and earned All-American status in 2008 with a sixth place finish on the one-meter board at the NCAA championships.  Kari is currently a teacher and lives in Columbus, Indiana.
