South Bend Central High School, 1936 – 39
Jack Carney competed for South Bend Central High School and won the 220-yard freestyle in 1937, the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events in 1938, and the 40-yard freestyle in 1939.
Jack is one of only four swimmers to win state championship titles in four different events.
