Dee (Boice) Woods

Franklin Community High School, 1977 – 81


Boice__DeeDee Boice competed for Franklin Community High School and won two diving state titles in 1979 and 1980, setting a state record her senior year with a score of 467.55. Dee earned a diving scholarship at Miami University in Ohio, where she set three school records, won several Mid-American Conference championships and qualified for the NCAA championships. In 1994, Dee won the one meter Masters Nationals. She has coached age group and high school diving, including two high school state champions and one Hall of Fame inductee. Dee currently serves as the Head Diving Coach and adjunct professor at Franklin College. She is married to Andrew Woods, and they have two children, Anna and Nicholas.
