Munster High School, 1973 – 77
David Bombar swam for Munster High School from 1974 to 1977 where he helped the Seahorses to four consecutive state championships. He earned two individual state titles in the 100-yard butterfly in 1975 and 1976, setting a state record his junior year. He also was a member of two championship relay teams. He earned a scholarship to the University of South Florida in Tampa. David is married to Shirley and resides in North Port, Florida where he works for General Electric.
