Indianapolis Broad Ripple High School, 2002 – 06
Brittany attended Indianapolis Broad Ripple High School, where she won the IHSAA Girls Diving event in 2004 and 2006. Brittany was the recipient of the IHSAA Mental Attitude Award her senior year. She also played the violin and was the salutatorian of her senior class.
Brittany also competed in national and international meets, earning a spot on the USA National Team. She won a Junior National championship, a bronze medal at the Pan American Games, placed seventh at the FINA World Grand Prix and a bronze medal at the World University Games. Brittany went on to dive at Indiana University and earned All-American honors in 2007, 2008 and 2009. In 2008 she was named the Big Ten Diver of the Championship and Diver of the Year.
