South Bend Central High School, 1933 – 35
Bob Marsh was a three-time individual state champion for South Bend Central High School. At the 1933-34 championships, he won the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events, establishing a new state record in the 50-yard freestyle. At the 1934-35 championship, he repeated as champion in the 100-yard freestyle, setting a new championship record. He contributed to South Bend Central’s team titles in both 1933-34 and 1934-35.
