The top 18 & under swimmers from around the world will converge on Indianapolis for the 2017 FINA World Junior Swimming Championships. Nearly 1,000 athletes from 100 countries are expected to compete in this six-day competition that will feature an early look at athletes who will be buying for positions on their respective nations’ Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games rosters. This event will be broadcast both nationally and internationally and will spotlight Indianapolis and the Indiana University Natatorium at IUPUI. This is a USA Swimming meet Indiana Swimming and the Indianapolis community as local partners

Practice days are Sunday – Tuesday, August 20-22 followed by the six days of competition from August 23-28. Prelims begin at 9:30 AM each day with finals at 6:00 PM. Volunteers are needed in a variety of areas including some unique to an international competition. You won’t want to miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to interact with our guests from around the world.
